I will be leading a small group taking Nordic and non Nordic walkers out on several different GR92 routes. One walk taking you across the Spanish border by train to Collioure, France, where that days walk will begin. Collioure being one of the most attractive seaside towns on this Mediterranean Coastline. We will have a hotel base in Llanca Spain with its beach, marina and pretty fishing port.
The walks vary in lengths averaging 3-5 hrs a day. I will guide beginners and experienced walkers, so that everyone will enjoy this holiday.

Philip Bird Accredited Nordic Walking Instructor:
I have trained as an accredited instructor in Nordic Walking and fitness. I am fully insured for the UK and Europe and I am trained in first aid and have a certification in compass and map reading. I have a good command of French and I am currently learning Spanish.
Alongside my interest in health and fitness, I also own Heaven & Earth health food shop in Faversham, Kent. I have enjoyed Nordic Walking for some time and from seeing the many personal benefits, I have been running regular local walks and free taster sessions from January 2016 and have taught many people the technique to Nordic Walk.
I have visited and assessed many walks and trails in both France and Spain over the last 10 years. Along with stunning scenery and usually beautiful weather, the trails are an ideal place to enjoy either Nordic Walking or treking/walking (if you prefer not to learn Nordic Walking).
The routes chosen are ideal for mixed abilities. The quicker walkers will walk ahead to an agreed point before returning to the group, so that everyone stays engaged and focused. Groups will be kept small and up to a maximum of 6 people.
